Q3: Creating your Prezi
Briefing:
Now it is time to be a rebel and try out Prezi! You will create a presentation to share with your teacher, friends and family. Be creative!
Steps: PREZI 1
Create a Prezi sharing 10 things about yourself. It could be about your family, pets, friends, likes, dislikes, hobbies, achievements, etc. Be creative! Include pictures, words, and possibly videos to share information about yourself with the class.
1. Go to the Prezi website and log in.
2. Choose to make a new presentation.
3. Create a presentation sharing 10 things about you.
a. DO NOT put your last name on your Prezi. Just use your first name.
b. Each point of your Prezi needs words and a picture.
c. Feel free to include videos! This will make your Prezi extra special.
4. When your Prezi is completed save or embed your Prezi in your File Space.

BEFORE you begin, you must tell your teacher with whom you will be working and where you are going on your holiday.
Collaborate
Create with another student a Prezi planning and showing a dream vacation. Be creative! Include pictures, words, and possibly videos to share information about where you’d like to go.
Make sure to cite your sources using one of the citation makers. Easybib
1. Go to the Prezi website and log in.
2. One student choose New Prezi and
a. name it "Dream Vacation"
b. choose a blank or a template
c. EXIT the document
3. Now collaborate with your partner. That means you both work on it together, at the same time, each from his/her own computer. Video of directions for collaboration here.
a. Go to the Dream Vacation Prezi page and choose edit together
b. Copy the share link to your partners web address bar and hit enter. Start working on it together. Your partner must already have a Prezi account.
4. Requirements for "Dream Vacation."
You are going on a weeks vacation. You must plan for 8 days. Each day must have a title of the place/event, a photo/image of the event and information about that event.
a. Do NOT put your last name on your Prezi. Just use your first names.
b. Use the template to gather your information.
c. Each point of your Prezi needs words and a picture.
d. Feel free to include videos! This will make your Prezi extra special.
e. Remember, we’ll be showing these as a class, so don’t put anything you don’t want to share in your Prezi.
f. If you know how to doctor up a picture, put yourself (face or entire body) in the vacation.

- Getting started: If this is your first time with Prezi, start simple by trying it out to get a feel for the fun you can have with this free program. You can use it to brainstorm your ideas first.
- Collect your resources: Create a folder on your computer/drive space to put all the images. Create a planning document and put the links to the web sites you plan to use or cite as references for your information.
- Features to try out: Try out the zoom feature, inserting images, frames, rotating, and the path feature.
